~Our 2 Miracle Vehicles & my Spring Decor~

~Many of you have been so kind to reach out to check on me, so I wanted to give you An Update on me.  I am doing fine! After doing 2 EKG's on me, they found nothing wrong with my heart!

Praise Jesus!

I AM, however, taking more time to rest,

and putting more margins in my life!

~OUR 2 MIRACLE VEHICLES~

When we came home in 2015, from being on the mission field for nearly 10 years, we didn’t have a car.

We made it a serious matter of prayer as a family!

Shortly after we arrived back to the States, a friend who owned a car lot contacted Phillip and told him that he was going to a car auction the next day. He gave Phillip his pass code to look on line at the vehicles and wanted Phillip to tell him which one which we wanted to buy.

Phillip spent 3 hours and never found a vehicle that would fit our family of 8, or that we could afford.

Tired and discouraged, Phillip closed his lap top to go to bed!

When all of the sudden, his phone went off and he received a text.  It was from a good friend of ours who lived several states away.  He asked Phillip if we had found a car yet.  He told Phillip to call him the next morning.  Phillip called him and he said that his wife had a nearly new White Suburban in great condition, that fit 8 passengers, and that she wanted to donate it to our family!

WHEW! I cannot tell you how excited we were!!  After we got it, I would just drive down the road and cry from Joy and ask God to richly bless our friends for their kindness!

Speed up to 2024.

We do a lot of traveling for Jesus!  We are still driving that 2011 Suburban and it now has 400,000 miles on it!!!  It has taken us safely over many a mile to hold a missionary service at a small country church here, or to sing for a camp meeting there, but now is clunking and is not dependable for long trips.

Our family started praying again that God would please send us another family vehicle.  We still are full-time faith Missionaries, working from the US, and rely on God for our needs.

One of our supporters recently wrote to us and told us that they were sending us a check designated to help us get a new-to-us vehicle!  We were so elated!

Phillip shopped on line and found a wonderful used White Toyota Sienna Minivan that still seats 8 (in case some of our older married kids are home for a visit, or to carry our grand babies some day. :-)

As I drive our new-to-us van around, I get teary-eyed!  I pray that Jesus richly blesses our supporter!

I cannot believe how God takes care of His children!  In order to go to the mission field we gave up material possessions, and we donated our van to our mission…but One can Never Out-Give God!

~My Scare, Phillip went to teach classes in S. Dakota, Missionary Convention, Josh and Sarah are having a BABY GIRL!~

Life has been very eventful for us!  We've been running, and going, and doing! :-). I'll try to catch you up.

This happened this past Monday!

I have been having crazy symptoms like brain fog and doing crazy things, shortness of breath Sunday night during choir practice, and song service.

Then Sunday evening I didn't have anything to eat, but woke up at 3:00 with indigestion and pain in my arm.

I got up and googled, "Symptoms of a heart attack in a lady."

The next morning I still felt the tightness in my chest, so my Son-in-law Chris said he thought I should go in to make sure that everything was ok with my heart!

Phillip called our local EMT who told Phillip to bring me to the fire station and they would check me out in their ambulance and then if they thought I needed to go on to the hospital they would take me.  They checked me out, gave me 4 baby aspirin, did an EKG, and thought I should go.

So, I rode by ambulance to the Hospital!

Phillip followed behind my Ambulance in our Suburban.

At the hospital they did another EKG, blood work, and IV, etc. and they said that as far as they can tell my Heart is checking out to be ok!

Praise Jesus!!

It may have been anxiety or stress related, as I have been running 90 to nothing, and have been praying for some pretty heavy prayer requests!!

~Leaving the hospital!
~I hadn't had liquids for hours, so Phillip bought me a drink on the way home.~

~Phillip and I went out early for Valentine's since he would be teaching in SD over Valentine's.~

They have yummy stuff!!
Noah has worked there some.

~We sang the Sunday before Phillip flew out to teach.~

~Phillip Teaches Block Classes in South Dakota!~
Feb. 12th found Phillip flying to Mitchell, SD to teach a block class on the HOME at Faith Bible School!  It was some intense hours of teaching, and beforehand he kept waking with chest pains, concerned that he was adequately prepared.

He got in around midnight, and then the next morning started off with a wonderful prayer meeting at 6:30!!

God's presence met with them in their early morning prayer meetings!  Those prayer meetings were more important than the classes!

On the Saturday before he left he told me that he wished he had some chocolate covered coffee beans to pass out to his students for a treat, and to help keep them awake during the hours of classes.

So I ran to Jungle Jim's and found some dark chocolate covered coffee beans, and at Sam's I found some M&M trail mixes and some fruit gummies for him to pass out to his students!

They were a big hit with the students, 'cause I kept getting texts that Phillip was now their "favorite teacher" since he passed out snacks!!! Ha!

~One of his students, Patrick, sent this pic of the dark Chocolate covered coffee beans and his Bible to me and said,

"THANK YOU!" :-)

~Phillip taught Tuesday-Friday in the mornings, and then Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights the Faith Missionary Church was opened up for Phillip to preach and share on the home.
The Lord really helped him and one night someone wanted to pray at the altar to get their marriage and home back together!~

~On Valentine's Day, I asked my sweet friend Ashlea if she could go and get a coffee for Phillip, and told her what to have the barista write on the sleeve,
and to please have someone deliver it to Phillip.
I told her to tell me how much I owed her and I
would PayPal her the money.~
~Phillip sent me this pic!
He was so surprised and happy to get a coffee from me.
Thank you, Ashlea!!~
The Last day of classes I asked another friend of mine,
Katelyn Patton to go and buy some
Glazed donuts and take
Coffee & Donuts to their last class!
I hear it was a Big Hit! :-)

~The kids and I made Monkey Bread.~
~And Homemade Honey Whole Bread.~

~One day we met the Klines at the Trampoline park, and the kids got to jump for FREE.
We all brought food and had a picnic.~

~Mary and I SURPRISE my Sweet Daddy and Moma!!~
While Phillip was in South Dakota,
Elijah and Abigail stayed with Chris and Kimberly and Mary and I ran over to IN and surprised my parents!
Daddy had just turned 81 and I wanted to be with them for a few days!  We had a really nice time together!!~
~We took Moma and got to visit with my Sweet niece Brittany and her adorable Natalie!~

~Daddy, Moma, Mary, and I went on a fun walk.
God gave us a beautiful evening and it was so fun being together!

~Saying Goodbye~
~Phillip flew home from South Dakota in the midst of a snowstorm.~

~His plane kept being delayed.  One time they taxied out to the runway, then had to be hauled back to the airport due to mechanical troubles, but finally got to fly and landed in Cinci at 1:00 AM, so we got home at 3:00AM Saturday!~
~Our God is amazing~
~Chris and Kimberly singing at church.~
~Since Phillip was gone over Valentine's, I made My Valentine's table the Sunday afterwards.~

~After Phillip got home from SD early Saturday AM, he, Elijah, and Mary left on Monday to go up and help his Dad work on his house.  Mary went to help Grandma with the meals.
Abigail and I stayed alone.  It was so fun to have Josh and Sarah came by!
~Abigail got to watch Chiquita, Kimberly's dog for a few days.  She did such a great job watching her.~

~Abigail and I tried to be PIONEER WOMEN and do the fire, while everyone was gone!  Sometimes we would get it going great, and other times, not so great!
Here is sweet Abigail carrying a heavy load of wood in for us to burn!~

~One time, I got mixed up on which levers to put where on our stove and nearly smoked us out of the house.
Abigail disappeared, and came back wearing GOGGLES...and told me that that helped!  HA!!!

~Phillip got me yummy chocolates when he got home.~
~Making it look more like Spring...On the side porch.~
~Kimberly had a gig on her violin, of a French couple renewing their vows.  Mary got to ride with her.~

~When we lived in Colombia, at a Grocery Store called Carulla, if you spent a certain amount on Groceries than you could get a set of 2 of these hand blown glass cups and metal saucers for a GREAT PRICE or FREE.
Since our family is so big, we always Spent that amount!
I was Thrilled to get a whole set of these while we lived there. :-) ~
~Spring is on the way!~
~The girls enjoying the outside swing!~
Trying Biggby coffee for the first time.
~Global Holiness Mission's Convention~
with Rick Hutchison.  His wife Joan was my 2nd piano teacher.  She is a sweetheart! Bro. Hutchison had a lot of good things to say.  One thing that stood out to me was that the most surprising thing about life, is how QUICKLY it passes!
I want to do my very BEST as a Christian, wife, and Mommy to touch my family and those around me for Jesus!!!
~JOSH AND SARAH FIND OUT WHAT BABY IS!~
Last Thursday, we waited all day, with bated breath, wondering WHAT baby would be!  It didn't matter to us, either way, but the EXCITEMENT WAS HIGH!!!
Mary even did Abigail's hair with Pink and Blue pony tails
that day!
~Here is Sarah's Baby Bump at 17 Weeks!
She is 19 Weeks now!
~Finally right before we left for Missionary Convention that night,....we got the LONG-AWAITED PHONE CALL FROM JOSH AND SARAH!!!!

~IT'S A GIRL!!!~
~THIS GRAMMY did have a hard time concentrating on missionary service that night!!~

~Friday we went to Cracker Barrel with as many of the missionaries that could come.~

~My Life's Verse is John 15:16
~On Saturday Bro. Becker did some Missionary work shops for us.~
~What we covered was so GOOD and made you want to Draw closer to Jesus and Share Him more with others!!
~Noah ran and got some chocolates for us to enjoy during the workshops.~

~The ladies, except Mary and Abigail~
~The men...except Elijah.
~Then the Beckers took us to a yummy Mediterranean restaurant called, Lentils.~

~At the end of the meal they served us Turkish Coffee and Baklava!~

#Headless. ~
~Much Better.~
~Yummy Peanut Butter Cookies that we made.~
~At the very end of our good Missionary Convention, Bro. Becker looked at Pastor and asked him how his heart rate was doing!  Pastor said something like, "It's ok."
Then Bro. Mark motioned for Pastor to come up and lead us in the dismissal prayer!
That was the first time that Pastor has been back up on the platform since his heart attack in Oct. or Nov!
There were a lot of us weeping!!
He isn't back to where he can preach yet, but God is helping him!

~I do not know WHAT YOU might be facing today!

You might have been assigned this MOUNTAIN,
to show others It can be Moved by GOD!
~HEATHER~
