~Our Annual dinner going out to celebrate God calling us to be missionaries!~

A BIG Thank you and thumbs up goes to Zack Pilmore and his Dad Pastor Paul Pilmore and Caleb Arnold for RIDING FOR COLOMBIA...to raise money for the poor children that attend our school in Colombia.

These days...our lives are so busy, it makes me want to go back to bed!!  :-)

On Tuesday Phillip made a RUSH trip up to Michigan and back, where a dear lady donated a ton of nice school uniforms to our school in Colombia!

We leave tomorrow to make a quick trip to be with our dear friends the Boardmans, and help Kara celebrate finishing high school.  Phillip is to speak at her commencement and I am to play the piano.
Then on Monday morning EARLY we will go over to Chicago where our dear friends from Argentina, Leo and Caro and their Jonathan and Valen have a 6 hour lay-over.
We plan to spend as much time with them as we can, then we will come home Monday night.
Tuesday Phillip and Kimberly will PACK and get ready to leave for their missions trip to Colombia EARLY Wednesday morning!!!
PLEASE PRAY :
~for strength,
~for help as Phillip tries to PACK all of those uniforms into the allowed suitcases,
~and for guidance as Phillip studies for and preaches and teaches to our dear people in Colombia.
Our assoc. Pastor Paul Pilmore and his children Zack and Anna are going to Colombia as well.
~Please pray for Bro. Paul as he preaches,
Anna as she will be doing a VBS in our school there,
~And for Kimberly as she will be translating for Anna.

YOUR PRAYERS ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
For several years now Phillip has taken our family out to eat around Valentine's...to an Ethnic restaurant...to set aside time to celebrate God calling our family to be missionaries.  He always challenges each of us to serve God and be shining lights where ever we go.
This year Phillip took us to Aladdin's eatery...unique natural foods from the middle east.

~Silly Abigail...these next 3 photos are like "the 3 stooges."~

~Abigail cracked us up in this outfit.  She was so SQUISHY in that sweater!!~
~An us-ie~
~Their food was delicious!!!  The hummus was sooo yummy! ~

~A tiny photo shoot after dinner...while waiting for the rest of the family to get done eating.~

~We ordered 3 pieces of dessert and split them.  They were yummy!~

~Kimberly enjoying her little clear tea pot from Gram.
~Abigail "reading" one of the kids Paces. :-) ~

~We really enjoyed getting to hear Brittany play in her orchestra the other night.~
 ~It was such beautiful music!!!~

~My handsome date for the night...for all of life! :-) ~

~Then we stopped at McDonalds and grabbed a few things off the dollar menu.
Mary and Elijah "pulled on the heartstrings" of the young girl behind the counter,
and she ADDED WHIPPED CREAM to their ice cream! :-) ~
~Brittany and Elijah!~
 ~Sweet little Abigail!~
THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS FOR THE TRIP TO COLOMBIA AND THE PREPARATIONS!!

~Our missions service in Shelybville, IN, our Valentine's dinner at D and Laura's, and lots of other pics.~

A load of pics from our last few fun but busy days!  (These pics are not necessarily in order!)
~Our Dear friends  at the Bible Holiness Church in Shelbyville have faithfully supported our family with their love and prayers for years!
The Smiths are our dear friends.  Pastor Joseph Smith and Stephanie came down to Colombia and held some services for our people.
We were delighted to get to go back and see them again and have a missions service.
~When Phillip pastored the church in Phoenix, AZ, before we went to the mission field, Trint and Janette and Sis. Castle were a part of that congregation.
Now they attend Shelbyville, so it was so FUN to get to be with them again!!
Our kids were Having a blast being together and HOWLING LAUGHING!~

~Such a yummy supper the Smiths and the other ladies provided for us.~

~It was a combined Spanish and English service, so we sang one special that included both.~

~Kimberly playing "Great is Thy Faithfulness" on her violin in the middle of our special.~
 ~Then the girls and I sang a trio.~
~Phillip sharing in English what God has been doing in South America, and Stephanie interpreted it to Spanish for her people.~
~My friend Dorcas, who came to see us while we were studying Spanish in Costa Rica, has a precious little girl named Sarah...so this, ladies and Gentlmen....
Is SARAH AND SARAH!  :-) ~

~One Snowy night, Our dear friend Miss Linda invited us over for pizza.  Our dear friends Paul and Linda Alexander were there too.
Phillip really enjoyed talking missions with Bro. Alexander, who was a missionary to Spanish speaking fields for around 16 years or more.
Little Abigail was "reading a 'tory" in Miss Linda's chair.~

~Yummy pizza and wonderful Christian fellowship!~
~Miss Linda wanted Elijah to build her a snowman.  This is the finished product.  :-) ~
~Our Abigail LIVES LIFE ON THE EDGE!
She often sits on the tray of her highchair.  Trust me, we are trying to break the habit!~
~My Sweet Brother Lincoln was in town, so we got to spend a few minutes together!~
~The girl's friend Megan had a birthday party at Sweet Frog yogurt place.  (Which if I understand correctly...is owned by Christians, and is closed on Sunday!!!)  That's the kind of business we like to support!~

~Then after the yummy yogurt...we all went to the mall.~
~I took this pic of little Abigail TRYING TO KEEP UP with all the older girls walking in the mall.~

 ~OUR VALENTINE'S DINNER AT DARYL AND LAURA'S!~
~We were delighted to get an invitation from Daryl and Laura for Sunday dinner on Valentine's day. :-) And they invited Daddy and Moma over as well.
Laura's table was beautiful and so festive!~
 ~And everything was YUMMY!
Laura made and served candied carrots, yummy tender lamb, mashed potatoes, and gravy, asparagus, tea, and yummy brownies, ice cream and toppings.~
~I made this green salad, a new blueberry salad (Thanks, Luann for the recipe :-), and rolls.~
 ~Laura's yummy layered brownies.~

~Along about  2 or so, God SURPRISED US with a BEAUTIFUL SNOW that started falling..and we got 4" or so!
It was a lovely evening getting snowed in together!~

~Elijah loves his little sister Abigail.  This time he dressed her in a ski mask. ~
~The next morning after our surprise snow we took the kids and 2 of their cousins to Eden park to sled.~

~Darla pulling Abigail on the sled.~
~Kimberly and a pink hat and gloves ....Abigail!~
~We LOVED having Natasha join us for a little while.  These college kids stay so busy that we love it when we get a minute to be together.~

~Beautiful little Abigail and her Beautiful cousin Natasha.~
~Darla and I.  I went sledding again for the first time in YEARS.~

~Beautiful Kimberly faithfully doing her school work.~
~Sarah was enjoying her new little tea pot for one from U. Leo and A. Caro.~
~I made this Yummy hot chocolate for Noah while he was studying.~
~And our friend Zack had a birthday get together at the mall.  Abigail LOVES Zack....and his phone! :-) ~

 ~Abigail got a hold of Elijah's nerds and spilled them.  :-( ~
~Found this pic on my phone.  Mary must have been holding Abigail and took this pic.~
~We're aren't oil freaks :-) but we do use oils and have seen the benefits of how it has helped Elijah with his asthma.
I got this neat vintage typesetter tray from my Daddy.
I put it on the back of the toilet for decoration and Phillip "put it to good use" with all of our oils.~
~Snapped this pic of Abigail and Robbie.  Robbie is the little boy of our dear friends Rob and Steff from our church.~
Up next, pics of our annual celebration dinner where we go out as a family to an ethnic restaurant to celebrate God calling us to be missionaries!
